The club operates a started a program of assessment and attendance rewards in line with the English Table Tennis
Butterfly Skills
program. The program is designed to encourage participation and skill improvement. It gives the players the
opportunity to demonstrate their improvement and to get that improvement recognised with a national award. The club
also encourages the juniors to gain the ETTA
Junior Umpires
 
award.
The club is willing to support any junior who wishes to use table tennis to gain awards / recognition in other actives
such as the relevant sports badges for
Cubs
,
Scouts
,
Explorers
,
Brownies
 
and
Guides
 
or to participate in table tennis as part the sports activity requirements for the
Duke of Edinburgh Awards
 
scheme.
The club operates in line with the ETTA’s
Child Protection Policy
and all the club officials are CRB checked.
