Welcome to Storrington Table Tennis Club

Storrington Table Tennis Club (STTC) formed in 2004 and is now a thriving local club going from strength to strength. The club was originally set up to help children between the ages of 7 and 16 to learn to pay table tennis and enjoy taking part in an active sport. The club offers expert coaching from UKCC and ETTA qualified coaches, as well as fun games and activities to develop the player's abilities. Many of the juniors enter local tournaments hosted by local leagues and by the Sussex Table Tennis Alliance where they have won medals across several of the ability groups. STTC is a founder member of the Sussex Table Tennis Alliance and as such hosts a tournament in the spring when it welcomes players from across Sussex to the leisure centre.

The club has ties to many of the local schools in the area and in 2008 secured lottery funding to purchase table tennis tables for several of the schools so that pupils were able to take part in table tennis during PE lessons and after school clubs. Building on these links the club also holds an annual schools tournament where teams take part in both competitive matches and fun activities.

In 2009 the club has opened its doors to adult players and has already got an enthusiastic and divers membership from those just wishing to have table tennis based fun to those who wish to take part in more serious competitive table tennis.

Building on the opening of the adult section the club has already entered it’s first combined team of adults and juniors into the Worthing and District Table Tennis League.
